PHOTO-A-DAY: Day 37

My entire office attended a funeral at this church today for the father of one of the firm principals. During the service I learned that he would have turned 88 years old today. I wish everyone could have funerals on birthdays. It seems the perfect way to celebrate the crossroad of life and death.

    1. I love how some of my “from the car” photos turn out. This was completely unplanned. I just held the camera up while I went through the light and took a few photos without knowing how they looked. Once I had a chance to look at the three I took I really loved the way this one came out – the traffic light matching the angle of the two towers, the wires crossing overhead, the gloomy sky. Sometimes my attempts at taking photos from the car don’t work, and sometimes they do. This was a “do” kind of day.
