This is how it works when you are a knitter. You buy yarn and stare at it for a while. You squeeze it, and look through patterns. Sometimes you carry it around with you because it’s so pretty and you just want it to be near you to cheer you up with it’s happy color and optimistic potential. Then you put it in a closet or a bin and then finally, months later, decide to start a project. Then, two years later, almost to the day, you finish that project and hope it fits. I couldn’t be more happy with this process, especially when the results are as perfect as this.
